TRON: LEGACY - The Soundtrack
We may have to wait just over a week to see how Tron: Legacy has turned out (I got to see the 20 minutes of preview footage and was very impressed with the visuals), but we can experience the soundtrack in all its glory now.
The music for the film was created by Daft Punk, who are themselves life long fans of the original Tron and have sneaked a cameo in this sequel. This soundtrack is pretty awesome stuff that meshes well with the electronic world created by Jeff Bridges Kevin Flynn. Here's the video for 'Derezzed' as a taster. See if you can spot Daft Punk.
If you fancy catching yourself a bargain, you can currently download the whole album for just £3.99 from Amazon's MP3 store. It's a limited time offer that runs out this Sunday (12/12/10), so don't hang about on this one folks.

Tron: Legacy Preview
The other night I was lucky enough to get to see 23 minutes of 3D footage from the soon to be released Tron: Legacy. In short, it was glorious. The whole event was part of a preview that Disney had organised across the country, and I was fortunate enough to receive some tickets from Adam at the excellent film site, hopelies.com. If you want to know my feelings on what I got to see from the film, I recommend you head over to hopelies.com to check out my report.

The Fabulous Bridges Boys
We all remember 1989's The Fabulous Baker Boys, right? Jeff and Beau Bridges living it up as a pair of brothers who are also swarthy lounge singers. Lovely stuff. It put Michelle Pfeiffer on the map.
As we all know Jeff Bridges won an Oscar this year, pronounced by many to be long overdue. But what's his elder brother Beau been up to recently?
Oh.
Still, at least he's still got a smile on his face. Kinda.
I'm not sure I'd be happy either if I was a man in my late 60's being second billed behind Steve 'Crocodile Botherer' Irwin's young daughter Bindi.
Nice Pirate hat though.
