Derby ID Fest 2013 - Preview

Following on from my visit to last year's festival, next week I will be returning to the Derby Quad for their annual ID Fest, which this year is looking at the theme of family in film.

"And May Their First Child Be A Masculine Child"


As if Robert De Niro's GodFocker routine from earlier this year wasn't bad enough, we've now got Tyler Perry pissing all over the Godfather's memory. I don't know what's worse; the complete desecration of one of cinemas most iconic posters, or that people still find a grown man in a wig funny.


It's not like I was going to see the new unexplainably successful Tyler Perry film anyway, but I'm sure as hell not going to now.

In Memory of John Cazale

On the occasion of what would have been his 75th birthday, I thought I'd devote this blog post to perhaps one of the greatest losses the acting world ever saw. Today let's look at the life and career of Fredo himself, John Cazale.
